Question 1

Do I need an account to try the sample flashcards?

Accepted Answer

No. The sample flashcard decks on this page are free and require no signup or login. Pick a topic, flip through the cards, and rate yourself to see how spaced repetition works.

Question 2

What is spaced repetition and how does Cuiz AI use it?

Accepted Answer

Spaced repetition is a learning technique that schedules each card for review just before you would forget it. Cuiz AI uses the SM-2 algorithm — every time you rate a card, the next review is pushed further into the future for cards you know well, and brought sooner for cards you struggle with.

Question 3

Can I generate flashcards from my own notes or PDFs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sign up for free and upload any PDF, DOCX, PPT, or TXT file. Cuiz AI will generate both a quiz and a matching flashcard deck so you can drill the same content with retrieval practice.

Question 4

How are AI-generated flashcards different from manual ones?

Accepted Answer

AI-generated flashcards extract the most testable concepts from your source material automatically, so you can start practicing in seconds instead of typing each card by hand. You can still review and edit them after generation.

Question 5

Are flashcards better than re-reading my notes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Decades of cognitive science research show that active recall (forcing yourself to retrieve an answer) builds much stronger long-term memory than passive re-reading or highlighting. Flashcards are one of the cleanest ways to practice active recall.
